A Private Retreat for Caregivers, Families & Grief Integration
Honoring Love. Holding Grief. Creating Meaning.
A private 3-hour retreat designed for individuals and families navigating caregiving, anticipatory grief, or life after the loss of someone they love.
Whether you are caring for a loved one, preparing for a goodbye, or finding your way after a loss, this experience offers something that is often difficult to find—a quiet place to simply be.
There is nothing to fix.
Nothing to achieve.
Only space to breathe, remember, reflect, and gently reconnect with yourself while honoring the person who continues to live in your heart.
Why This Retreat
Caregiving asks us to remain strong for everyone else.
Grief asks us to carry what words often cannot express.
The nervous system holds both.
Through restorative movement, guided reflection, ceremonial ritual, and creative expression, this retreat offers individuals and families an opportunity to slow down and tend to themselves with the same compassion they have offered others.
This experience complements—not replaces—bereavement counseling, hospice support, or therapy by providing an embodied space for restoration, remembrance, and meaning-making.
Your Experience
Arrival & Grounding
We begin with gentle breath awareness and meditation, allowing your body to settle after weeks, months, or even years of caregiving or emotional stress.
Restorative Yoga & Reiki
Gentle supported movement, restorative yoga, and Reiki invite deep rest while helping regulate the nervous system.
No yoga experience is necessary.
The focus is simply allowing yourself to receive.
Reflection & Remembrance
Rather than focusing on release, you'll be invited to reflect on your journey.
You may choose to write about:
- Memories you want to carry forward
- Words left unsaid
- Gratitude
- Love
- Grief
- Forgiveness
- What this person has taught you
- What you hope to continue living in their honor
Everything shared remains private.
Fire Ceremony
The fire becomes a symbol of transformation rather than forgetting.
Participants may choose to:
- release fear
- release guilt
- release exhaustion
- release regret
- offer gratitude
- honor a loved one's life
- or simply witness whatever is present.
There is no right way.
Clay as Memorial & Meaning
The ashes from the ceremony become incorporated into your clay.
Rather than creating a perfect piece, you create a personal vessel of remembrance.
Many people choose to sculpt
- a small bowl
- a heart
- a vessel
- a stone
- an abstract form
- or simply allow their hands move without a plan.
The ceramic becomes something you can return to for years—a physical reminder of love, resilience, and the transformation that accompanies grief. no experience necessary.
Korean Tea & Integration
We close in quiet reflection over Korean tea.
There is no rush to leave.
Just time to notice what has shifted.
Your Keepsake
Your ceramic piece is professionally glazed, kiln-fired, and shipped to your home.
